Morse Code features the 26 letters of the English alphabet and numbers 0-9. The dash is three times longer than the dot when sending a message, and when separating words a gap or space equivalent to 3 dots is used. Morse code has been used for over 160 years! Morse code was vital during WWII especially for carrying messages between naval bases and warships! It was also extensively used on warplanes, especially those on long-range patrols.
